Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team

The CHSS DEI Team works collaboratively with faculty and staff throughout the college to guide the implementation of the CHSS Inclusive Excellence (IE) Plan, support an inclusive process for active faculty searches, facilitate inclusive faculty mentorship and professional development, and connect CHSS community members to anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion, and civility resources.

The DEI Team’s efforts in these areas are further supported by input from the CHSS IE Council, which consists of faculty, staff, students, and alumni who meet once a month to provide feedback on related working documents related to our IE Plan, represent their constituencies’ views on DEI-related issues, and suggest recommendations about IE efforts as they develop and unfold in CHSS.
